Poland’s Energy Storage Expansion Highlights Growing Infrastructure Investment
On 4 November, ORLEN confirmed that its PLN 580 million Wierzchowice project had increased the site’s gas storage capacity by more than 60%, from 1.3 billion to 2.1 billion cubic metres. The expansion raises national storage capacity to approximately 4.1 billion cubic metres. The development creates demand for energy-market intelligence and infrastructure forecasting.
